The new policy effective April 15 “aims to promote tourism and investments from these countries,” the Department of Foreign Affairs statement read.The announcement brings to 157 the total number of countries whose citizens enjoy visa-free privileges in the Philippines. Somalia has been removed from the list. It has maximum sustained winds of 55 kilometers per hour near the center and is forecast to move Northwest at 5 kilometers per hour. Caraga and Central and Eastern Visayas will be under cloudy skies and experience scattered light rainshowers and isolated thunderstorms, PAGASA said. Metro Manila and the rest of the country will be partly cloudy to cloudy and experience isolated rainshowers or thunderstorms in the afternoon or evening.
